The Mediocre Music Blog was formed in May of 2010 by a group of friends from across the United States, united by a common passion for great music. They sought a place where they could come to discover and discuss emerging artists, upcoming concerts and industry news, without the pretentiousness and judgment found elsewhere online. Such an arena is so valuable to its contributors and readers that they cover all associated expenses: the Mediocre Music Blog is advertisement free and always will be.
We currently have contributors in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, San Diego and Seattle, covering a broad range of genres from oldies to hip-hop, dubstep to classical.
