Well it’s been another whacky week in the world of music. Stephen Colbert announced his own music festival (taking place on an aircraft carrier, naturally), Snopp Dogg formally became Snoop Lion, and an all-female Punk-Outfit named “Pussy Riot” are facing 7-years in a Russian prison. Free Pussy Riot, we say (no seriously, Putin, that’s messed up).
Never to be outdone, Miley Cyrus hosted an impromptu SWAT-team party and Jay-Z pulled a Curt Schilling a decided to start producing video games. Let us know how that works out, Mr. Carter. We’ve been laying low and simply putting together the best of the week’s new music for you to spend a summer weekend getting caught up with.
