Sorry about that little outage, folks. We’re not typically ones to make excuses, but things got pretty weird for the MMB crew for a bit there. Between us we’ve logged a couple of nasty breakups, moved our home 3,000 miles east, totaled a car and logged enough airmiles to fly halfway to Mars (we think). In the midst of all that our servers decided to implode on themselves, and our home-base was hit by both an earthquake and a hurricane. Godzilla watch remains in full effect.
We’re certainly not complaining though. Along the way we’ve been treated to some great music from all over the world. We’ve seen live reggae in Jamaica, jazz in New Orleans, rock n’ roll in London and were treated to a not-soon-to-be-forgotten electronic feast in New York. In addition we’ve got our hands on some amazing new records, and been exposed to dozens of exciting new artists. If anything the past few weeks have reaffirmed our mutual belief that music is an overwhelming force of good, and is there to cheer you up no matter what the circumstances.
All that said we haven’t completely taken our eye off MMB. We’ve all gotten to spend a lot of time with each other (and some new friends) and had some good chats on how we can make this whole project slightly-less mediocre. We’d love to know what you’ve been up to, too. Anything rocking your socks lately? soothing your soul at night? or melting the face off your mama? Holla at us either in the comments, on our twitter or on our FB. We’ve got some great ideas and are all really looking forward to sharing them with everyone. In the meantime though just know that we’re glad to be back and we all really think we’re better than ever.
