Co. Fee’s Easy Listening comes out swinging with what was my SOTW this past Friday. Big bumpin’ beats got me pumped for the weekend, and the rest of the album provided the background for most of it. Then when Tom showed me Holy Ghost!, Easy Listening got mixed in with some much smoother beats, but still easily held its own with what is first and foremost a hip-hop album.
Anyway, Easy Listening is full of strong beats comprised of old (seeming) vocal samples, new sounds more commonly found in electro and dubstep, but an underlying feeling of banging hip-hop. I’m really happy that this album is instrumental, so if any of you dear readers are any good at freestyling or rapping, then you probably ought to check this out.
Check out Easy Listening beyond the break, and if you can, bump it.
