A couple of weekends ago, one of the DJs at Southpaw played this track before Kings Go Forth took the stage. I’m thrilled that he did, because this is one hot Northern soul jam. The Metros got together in Detroit in 1966, and a year later they split up. They released just one album, Sweetest One, seen above. That’s about all I can tell you about the group; I hope you dig the song as much as I do.
