As anyone who’s listened to Major Lazer can readily attest, Diplo has a soft spot for reggae and dancehall. It comes as no surprise then, that given the keys to the expansive back catalog of Jamaican label Greenslves Records, he turned out a thoughtful and thoroughly enjoyable mix.  Diplo’s hand-picked 15 tracks, mostly of 80s vintage- right around the time reggae artists were beginning to develop a dancehall sound- and woven them together to create what is odds-on favorite to become my summer soundtrack.
