The beeps and boops of Copy’s latest LP, Hard Dream, sound new, but remind me of that early electronic sound from the 70′s and 80′s. Toss in a slightly modified standard set of solid beats with some underlying long synth notes and you get an interesting mix that brings to mind 80′s-movies’ renditions of THE INTERNET. The less I pay attention to it, the more I notice I’m bobbing my head.

I might be wrong here, but I think half of this album was recorded with a kid’s Casio keyboard. And in case you weren’t sure, that’s awesome. Check out a few tracks after the break, or head over to Grooveshark for more.
