We love Frank Zappa here at the MMB and we also love the idea of artists playing full albums live, especially from the vinyl era when they were really meant to be played as a whole.  Frank’s son, Dweezil, returns with his talented bunch of musicians, Zappa Plays Zappa, to celebrate Frank’s would-be 70th birthday with a lengthy tour, performing FZ’s classic 1974 album, Apostrophe (‘), in its entirety along with the debut of unreleased video footage.  As with previous tours, expect cameos of big names from Frank’s previous bands and the closest replication of a live FZ show out touring today.   And although Frank’s birthday isn’t until December 21st, wish him well by enjoying the full studio album of Apostrophe streaming below.
