Check this out. Some dude from Chile married the “Emulator” MIDI controller software (in this case controlling Traktor Pro, but the same concept could be applied to Ableton, Virtual DJ or anything else really) with a custom built multitouch screen called the “Töken.” Needless to say it looks fun as hell to play with and I want one, but given how custom this particular rig is I don’t think I’m going to get to do so anytime soon.
