Sufjan Stevens, whose previous state-themed albums about Michigan and Illinois propelled him into the forefront of the not-quite-indie-not-quite-rock-but-quite-interesting-music spotlight, is back at it again, releasing an 8 song, 60 minute EP from his own Bandcamp website.  Not one to shy away from ambitious musical endeavors, Sufjan again provides an ethereal experience through a dynamic mix of tracks, from quiet acoustic numbers reminiscent of his Seven Swans album to 10+ minute orchestral epics, full of sweeping strings and angelic choirs.  Be sure to catch him on his latest tour promoting the new EP and stream the full record below courtesy of his own website.
