Finally the CDQ version of KiD CuDi’s new single hits the Internet. CuDi has been releasing tracks across all sorts of genres for a long time now so it’s hard to really pin him down to any one (which is a GREAT thing for all of us). His latest track produced by Kanye is below for stream and download.
If anything I’d call this track Weezer inspired, thoughts?

i listened to this track three times before i actually read your post. definitely agree with your keen observation, “Weezer inspired.” it’s when he sings soprano and the bum bum bum of the beat then the added snare – hard to express in words, but you know what i mean. i need me more Cudi!
speaking of weezer, I heard Rivers Cuomo say of their new album that it would have “more raw rock energy” than their last one.
Someone should mention to him that my toothbrush has “more raw rock energy” than weezer’s last album.
